What is the Specification and Working Model of Roll Crusher?
The specification of roll crusher includes four aspects which are introduced in details in the following:
1. Angle of nip in roll crusher
Take KYC-double roll crusher as an example. Let us say the ores are spherical, and lead a tangent from the contact point of the ores and two rollers, and the angle of nip of the two tangents is the angle of nip in a roll crusher and it is generally in the range of 33°40′~38°40′.
2. Feeding granularity and rotor diameter
Generally speaking, the rotor diameter of the double roll crusher PG200*100 should be about 20 times of the maximum feeding granularity and this type of roll crushers is mainly used for the medium and fine crushing of ores.
3. Rotating speed of the roller
The rotating speed of the roller of a roll crusher is related to the surface property of the roller, physical property of the materials and the feeding granularity. Generally speaking, the bigger the feeding granularity is and the harder the ores are, the lower the rotating speed of the rollers should be.
4. Production capacity
When crushing hard ores, the production capacity of roll crushers can be calculated by a 25% plus.
The working model of a roll crusher is that it mainly crushes and splits the materials by relying on the high-speed rotation of special and wear-resisting rollers, thus forming the mechanism with high productivity.
