Introduction to the Hammer Crusher
The hammer crusher, also called the hammer breaker, is used to crush all kinds of medium hard and brittle materials of little-abrasion, whose compressive strength is no more than 100MPa and moisture content less than 15%, such as coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, tile and limestone. It is also used to crush fiber structure, cracked wood of strong elasticity and toughness, paper, or the waste of cracked asbestos cement to recycle the asbestos fiber and so on. Moreover, the hammer crusher can not only be used in the crushing line and the sand making line, but also be used like the cone crusher in the ores dressing line.

Working Principle of the Hammer Crusher
The main components of the hammer crusher are rotors. The rotors consist of the main axis, disk, pin axis and hammers. The rotors rotate in the crushing cavity driven by the engine. The materials fall from the upper feed port and are crushed with the impacting, hitting, cutting and polishing of the high-speed rotating hammer. The sieve plate is under the rotors. The materials smaller than the size of the sieve pit are discharged from the sieve plate. Otherwise, the materials will stay on the sieve and are abraded and hit by the hammer constantly.
Structure of Hammer Crusher
The single rotor hammer crusher mainly consists of the box, disk, axes, hammers, grates, the adjusting frame and the coupling. The housing of the hammer crusher is a box made of steel plate, which can be divided into the upper part and the lower part along the center of the axis. The two parts are connected by the bolts. The feeding port is above the housing. To avoid abrasion and distortion of the inner wall of the box under the impact of the materials, protective lining boards are installed in the housing of the hammer crusher. There are triangle type disk and circle type disk. Since the edges of the triangle type are vulnerable to abrasion, If not found in time, the hammers will fall down, resulting in a less durable life than the circle type. There are 6 mandrels on the disk, by which the hammers are staggeredly installed on the disk. When the rotor rotates fast, the materials are crushed by the hammer under gravity. The rotating axis is supported by the axes on the ends and fastened with bolts. Centered on rotating axis, the grates rank on the grate frame. The quill shaft is arranged with two eccentric shafts under the box. The handles along the sides of the machine form an angle for the eccentric and the grate frame can be raised up or lowered down, which can adjust the pace between the hammer and the grates, and then the desired granularity can be obtained. When adjusting the machine, you needn't stop the operation.
