Some Factors that Affect the Impact Time of Impact Crusher

During the design process of impact crusher, impact time is an important parameter that must be concerned. Impact time refers to the persistent time that from the beginning of the impact to the finish of the impact. It has a great influence on the structure design, crush efficiency and production capacity of the impact crusher. Through the analysis of each factors that affecting the impact time, we will provide theoretical support for the design and optimization of the crusher.

1. Different working condition

Assuming that the rock is impacted by the board hammer, the rock will flying at a certain speed to the counter plate, but the rock is not broken. When analyzing the whole crushing process, we can find that the maximum displacement of the rocks is in the beneath of the center rock beneath which is contact with the arc edge of the board hammer.

2. Impact speed

When changes the impact speed and keep other conditions remain unchanged, we can find that the impact time has effect on the impact velocity and the impact velocity has a linear relationship with the impact time. The slow impact speed will led to the shorter impact time.

3. Material particle

When choosing the different size rocks and analyzing the impact time, we can find that the larger sized material will make the impact time longer. And the impact time and the impact speed of the different particle size are basically parallel.

4. Material shape

The shape of the materials are various and irregular. We can get this conclusion: through the increasing of the side length of the material (namely the shape becomes larger), the impact time also will increasing. As to the materials that the particle is same and the shape is different, the impact time is basically the same, so the comparability is not strong.
