Jaw crusher is used as the primary and secondary crusher in mining, building industry, infrastructure industry and other industries. According to the width of the feeder, the jaw crusher is divided into large type, medium type and small type. Jaw crusher has many advantages such as: simple structure, easy manufacture, reliable operation and easy maintenance.

The work of jaw crusher in mining beneficiation is very important. It not only affects the production efficiency of the beneficiation, but also affects the economic indicators. Only when the particle size of the material meets the requirement of physical beneficiation production process can we get higher efficiency of the beneficiation. Ore crushing process plays an important role in the beneficiation. Jaw crusher provides suitable materials for the sorting operations, the broken effects of the materials directly affect the overall economic efficiency of the processing operations.

Jaw crusher is widely applied in beneficiation and has a great influence on sorting operations. In the crushing process, jaw crusher overcome the internal cohesion among the molecules of the material, the material is broken into small particles by the mechanical force. In the production process, jaw crusher usually crushes the materials through coarse crushing and fine crushing.

Jaw crusher has two jaw boards, one is fixed jaw board (namely fixed jaw), which is vertically (or slightly extraversion) fixed in front of the body wall, and the other is movable jaw board (namely moving jaw), its location is slant, which formed the crushing chamber (working chamber) with the fixed jaw board. The movable board does periodic reciprocating movement to the fixed jaw board. When they are separated, the materials come into the crushing chamber and the finished product will discharge from the lower; when they are closed, the materials will be extruded and crushed by the function of bending and splitting.
