Introduce the Conveying Equipment in Pulverized Coal System

The function of limestone powder system is to produce qualified lime powder through a series of process, such as the grinding, selecting powder, collecting dust and sending the powder. The entire process should transport the material and grind the powder and select the powder. Following are the major equipment in this system.

1. Bucket elevator

The bucket is vertical conveying equipment for lifting various materials and powders. It has many advantages such as simple structure, small floor space and large transmission capacity. Its hoisting height is 30-40m and can up to 80m. It has good tightness and is easy to manage.

Bucket elevator consists of hopper, chain and driving device. Under the force of driving device, the hopper will do loop movement. The material enters the hopper from the lower part of the feeding port. When the material is raised to the upper sprocket, it will discharge from the discharging port.

2. Belt weighting feeder

In the production line, the limestone mainly transport by the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor is installed between the silo and elevator. It becomes the ties of continuous production to achieve continuous and automatic production processes. It can improve the productivity and reduce the labor intensity. The movement of conveyor based on the principles of friction drive. It has the advantages of big throughput, long transport distance, smooth transportation and small noise.

Belt weighing feeder is similar to the belt conveyor. This machine is added a metering device. There is a pressure sensor under the belt, the material load signal and the speed signal input weighing controller, then work out the actual feeding capacity. It is not only a feeder but also a metering device. It can achieve rationing feeding by adjusting the speed of conveyor.
