Introduce the Commonly Used Crushing Technology in Domestic
Crushing and grinding are the important parts of concentrator operation; therefore they have attracted high attention. The investment of this production line is high; the power consumption and maintenance costs are also high. The particle size of the final product of the crushing operation directly affects the grinding efficiency and beneficiation costs. Improving the efficiency and yield of the crushing and grinding operation is the important links of the concentrator which can reduce the energy consumption and costs and improve the economic benefits.
At present, most of China's existing dressing plants adopt three stages of crushing technology, but the four stages and two stages of crushing technology also have some applications. Among them, most fine crushing work adopts closed circuit crushing. The product size of fine crushing is controlled by closed circuit inspection screening, if the grain size is greater than 20 mm, the material will back to the fine grinding machine for recrushing, until its size is qualified. To some extent, this way can meet the requirement of feed size, but it will reduces the efficiency of fine crusher crushing and directly increases the equipment investment and maintenance cost. Especially in the rainy season, ore will become wet and bonds together. Then the efficiency of inspection screening will reduce which caused the belt conveyor load more and crushing efficiency will further reduce. For open circuit crushing, there still contains big size ore whose grain size is more than 20mm. When it enters into the mill, it wills severely reduce the mill grinding efficiency. (Generally speaking, the grinding particle size of the ore into the crusher is about 20mm.)
